Teapot Router / PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains what Teapot Router collects to operate accounts, route requests, record usage, process payments, and answer enterprise enquiries.
1. Information we receive
We may receive your email address, account profile, authentication events, API key metadata, request usage and cost records, payment references, and support or sales messages. We do not need your model secret in the browser.
2. How we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, provide gateway access, calculate usage, credit payments, prevent abuse, send transactional messages, answer enquiries, and maintain audit records.
3. Service providers
Requests may be routed to configured model providers. Payments, email, monitoring, and support may be handled by designated service providers. We share only what is needed for the selected service and protect credentials on the server side.
4. Retention and security
Usage, billing, and audit records are retained for operational, accounting, security, and legal needs. We use access controls, private service networking, and server-side secret storage. No internet service can promise absolute security.
5. Your choices
You may ask about your account information, request correction, or ask a question about a sales enquiry through the contact channel. We may need to verify account ownership before fulfilling a request.
6. Updates
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
